Gwen Andrews
Master in Leadership and Training
Gwen is from Canada. After engaging in emergency medical care in Canada, she was educated in leadership in Vietnam and China. She also has experience as home stay coordinator. She moved to Watari to become an ALT one month before the 2011 earthquake disaster, and afterwards founded GGEP. Since then, she has continued to teach and improve her teaching method, not only for children but also adults.
Gwen decided to call her school's Green Gables, because she wants to transmit the Anne Green Gables' spirit; which means curiosity, high energy, compassion, loving nature, and not being hesitating to express yourself.
Her teaching is suitable for each student
She proposes a style of study having 4 stages:
- Listen
- Speak
- Read
- Write
Lessons are very interactive using all the possible ways to communicate (language of course but also drawing, gestures...), with a lot of kind of activities.
Making mistakes is the key to progress!
Please actively enjoy it and achieve your goal.
